M2 Overland Service Body
Built for work. Ready for adventure.

When it comes to setting up your ute for work or adventure, our M2 Overland Service Body delivers the perfect balance of durability, functionality, and versatility.
Bigger, smarter, more cost-effective
When it comes to setting up your ute for work or adventure, our M2 Overland Service Body delivers the perfect balance of durability, functionality, and versatility. Unlike traditional ute canopies, our service body is built on our proven Trek-R tray base, meaning you get all the benefits of our premium tray system with a fully enclosed rear door setup. Whether you need a practical service body for work or a modular canopy for adventure, this setup is built to handle both.
Why choose a service body system?
The biggest difference between our Trek-R Tray & Canopy System and our Service Body is that we don’t run a headboard. This allows us to extend the body length to 1800mm for a double cab (100mm longer than with a headboard) and saves you a considerable amount in unnecessary costs. The result? More internal space and a smarter, more streamlined design.
Available sizes
We build our Service Body in three sizes to fit all ute cab configurations:
Double Cab – 1800mm (L) x 1850mm (W)
Extra Cab – 2100mm (L) x 1850mm (W)
Single Cab – 2575mm (L) x 1850mm (W)
For added flexibility, we also offer two height options:
Standard Height – 875mm
Landcruiser Height – 995mm

External Add-Ons: Built to Work
Your Service Body can be customised with a range of roof and external accessories, including:
Load bars, roof racks or cantilever roof racks
Roof top tent mounts
Work lights and beacons
Full-time rearview camera
Undermount toolboxes and water tanks
Rear trundle drawer
Reverse camera, reverse sensor and blind spot monitor relocation
Important Note: Due to the rear door, we cannot mount spare wheels, jerry cans, LPG holders, or rear ladders.
Additionally, we do not have a headboard water tank option.

Internal Fit-Out: Designed Your Way
Inside, the Service Body can be set up for work or adventure.
Popular internal fit-out options include:
Central Locking & lighting package
Shelves & drawers (500mm or 800mm options, mix & match for your setup)
Divider's
Redarc 240V Inverter & Battery Management
Ply subfloors
Slide-out vices
Fridge slides (requires correct planning for fitment)
Drawer Heights & Stacking Options
Our Service Body drawers come in two height options:
Standard Drawers
Deep Drawers (double the height of standard drawers)
Because of the side door shape and drawer depth, stacking is limited.
The maximum configurations are:
Two Standard Drawers stacked, with a shelf above and an optional stainless-steel under bench below.
One Deep Drawer, with a shelf above and an optional stainless-steel under bench below.
This ensures full door functionality while maximising storage efficiency.

Modular Storage: What Setup Works for You?
One of the most common questions we get is: How should I set up my shelves and drawers?
We’ve simplified the options so you can easily decide. Our shelving and drawer units come in 500mm and 800mm widths. These can be installed side by side and back to back to create a complete fit-out or leave space at the rear for access.
Here’s our full fit-out configurations:
Double Cab:
2x 500mm units side by side, leaving 400mm of rear shelf space
Extra Cab:
Option 1: 1x 500mm + 1x 800mm unit side by side, leaving 400mm rear shelf space
Option 2: 2x 500mm units side by side, leaving 600mm rear shelf space
Single Cab:
Option 1: 3x 500mm units side by side, leaving 600mm rear shelf space
Option 2: 2x 800mm units side by side, leaving 600mm rear shelf space
Alternatively, you can customise the fit-out by reducing shelving and drawers to retain an open rear section. This flexibility means you can keep an area free for larger equipment, tools, or even adventure gear.
Not just for work - built for adventure
While designed as a service body, this setup is not limited to tradies and fleet users. If you need a rugged, enclosed canopy that can carry everything from camping gear to adventure equipment, the Service Body still offers roof top tent mounts and other outdoor-ready features.
Why choose m2 overland?
Our Service Body isn’t just another ute canopy – it’s a fully engineered system designed to work harder and last longer. With modular storage, rugged durability, and a no-fuss installation, you get a product that’s built for ute owners who expect the best.
